This full day (6 hour + firing time) metal clay class will focus on all the basics of metal clay including the types of metal clays and their advantages, creative inspiration, texturing, firing and finishing. Students will make their own metal clay pendants and/or earrings and leave with completed fine silver jewelry.  This class can save you time and money by teaching you how to get professional results from metal clay the very first time! This 6-week metal clay class is for everyone from beginners with no jewelry making experience to advanced students!  You will work on a variety of projects and learn the techniques needed to complete them.  Small class size allows for plenty of individual attention and metal clay skill building.  Instruction will focus on all the basics of silver metal clay including the types of metal clays and their advantages, creative inspiration, texturing, firing and finishing. In addition to the basics you will advance to more advanced jewelry making skills like stone setting, bezels, torch soldering, bead making, carving, and many other skills as you continue to learn and grow as a jewelry artist!  (*Supply cost additional, **If you wish to work in Bronze or copper clay there is an additional $45 firing fee.)

This class features bronze and copper clays and will cover its advantages, creative inspiration, and texturing.  Learn the ins and outs including how bronze and copper differ from silver metal clay and how to fire and finish this exciting new product! Firing will be finished after class and pieces picked up or mailed. (supply cost additional)

Join me in beautifil Tucson, AZ and learn to make beautiful artwork and filigree with the metal clay syringe.  In this metal clay class you will learn how to get past syringe work that looks like unintentional squiggles and create sensational syringe!  (Silver clay syringe and silver clay, additional cost) Intermediate to advanced metal clay students only.

Already have a little precious metal clay experience? You can take a one day, single session of the ongoing, 4 week class. This class is for everyone from beginners with basic jewelry making experience to advanced students!  You will work on a variety of projects and learn the techniques needed to complete them.  Small class size allows for plenty of individual attention and skill building.  This Art clay class will focus on all the basics of metal clay including the types of metal clays and their advantages, creative inspiration, texturing, and finishing. In addition to the PMC basics, you will advance to stone setting in place and with bezels, torch soldering, bead making, carving, and many other skills as you continue to learn and grow as a jewelry artist! (Kiln fired projects will be picked up or mailed due to time restraints.) *Please send me an email with the day and time slot that you are interested in.

This class is for students that already know basic stone setting in metal clay and wish to learn techniques for setting faceted and other stones where advanced skills are necessary. First you will design and construct a one-of-a-kind, metal clay basket setting for a stone that is not heat safe and learn to set the stone. You will also create a metal clay piece that holds a stone and learn to set it from the reverse side of the piece. Time permitting there will be demonstrations on other stone setting applications.  (Supply cost additional or supply list available on request.)

Want to create great focal beads and accent beads that can stand alone or be added to your beaded jewelry designs? In this class students learn how to make solid and hollow core beads with and without combustible core materials. Students will make lentil beads and round beads, shaped beads and more using different construction techniques! (Supply cost additional)

In this fun metal clay class you will learn how to construct a ring band, how to calculate for sizing, and then design and incorporate a top so that the ring is sculpted into a seamless unit. These aren't your everyday metal clay rings, they are sculptural and three dimensional rings that look like cast rings! (supply cost additional)
